yesit works if a brute disarms you then whatever weapon you were holding will be dropped on the ground. So you could prbly just have a bunch of medicine find a brute and let him disarm you by hitting you until you dont have your sword anymore. As for the armor i think that there is no way but the leather armor looks the least like armor.
