The electric door locks keep locking or unlocking (not sure which) all the time. This also causes the interior lights to come on and eventually the battery goes dead. I have tried a few things. 1. I unpluged the driver and passenger lock swithes. This had no effect on the problem. 2. I removed the 30 amp fuse under the hood in the power center.

2013 Ford Escape Titanium Ecoboost. My wife's car just started acting funny today. I'll pick up my key fob and walk to the car and the horn starts honking and lights flash. It was acting funny and after we drove some where and tried to come home it wouldn't start and it said it didn't recognize the key fob.
8 posts · Joined 2015. #4 · Mar 5, 2015. had a few Cmax grand now and one in particular had sliding doors that would rattle a lot and did not slide well. as a motorcyclist i had an aerosol of chain lube which had the advantage of being clear .i used this on the the runners and it reduced the rattle and the doors slid fine.
