Acrobatfor Windows XP. Hi, I have an old pc with InDesign CS4 and Acrobat 8 Standard. Being Windows XP I keep it offline. The pc failed recently and the repairman replaced the HDD. All my programs work except Acrobat which insists it must be “activated”, but I understand that is not possible as it’s no longer supported by Adobe.
DovIsaacs • , Feb 16, 2021. Acrobat 7 does not work on any version of Windows beyond Windows XP which itself hasn't been supported in any way by Microsoft for a number of years now. The activation servers were shutdown for Acrobat 7 and 8 a number of years ago. The response by @Karl Heinz Kremer no longer applies.
