21 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Aug 17, 2011. Hi, Just read the review on local forum about Ceed 1.6 CRDI, 115 hp, 6 speed, manual transmission, where the reviewer talked about kick down switch. Alegedly, when you press the accelerator pedal to the floor, it activate kick down switch, i .e, for a short period of time you get more aditional torque.
