V-ROD Transmission help. I own a 2003 VROD, and ran into a problem today. I started the bike up today which went fine, but for some reason the transmission and engine are not connecting. I can shift fine through out all the gears, but none of them are grabbing. I can fully let the clutch out but through every gear the bike is responding as if The V-Rod presents an entirely new engine architecture for Harley followers to contemplate: liquid cooling, double overhead cams, four valves per cylinder, one-piece crankshaft, .
